Released in 1986, the Jordan 2 has big shoes to fill, following the massive impact of the Jordan 1. Nike’s answer? Taking a luxe approach and starting over from scratch. Utilizing a brand new silhouette, ditching the iconic swoosh and replacing it with the Jordan brand wings motif, and using high end leather from Italy. The Jordan 2 was built to be a dominant force on and off the court.
The Jordan 2 “Chicago” has chiseled its way into pop culture history, from it’s iconic home and away iterations from back in 1986 to being donned by Michael Jordan himself, and most recently a low top version getting the Off White treatment by Virgil Abloh himself.
With another historic pair to round up the end of the year, the holiday season has never looked brighter.
