Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager E-commerce with a strong understanding of ecommerce functions and operations. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in the ecommerce domain and possess excellent skills in data analytics, product listing, website asset management, and backend operations. This role involves managing daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly MIS reports, and overseeing day-to-day ecommerce tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Specific Responsibility will include:

  • Oversee and manage daily ecommerce operations to ensure seamless functioning.
  • Prepare and maintain ecommerce MIS reports on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Analyse data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage product listings, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
  • Handle website asset management, updating and maintaining website content.
  • Work on website backend to ensure all functionalities are operating as expected.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in various day-to-day ecommerce tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure cohesive ecommerce strategies and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in preparing detailed MIS reports.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms and backend management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing product listings and website assets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

MIS/MDM Executive

At VNV, the MIS/MDM Executive will be responsible to collect, sanitise, store and analyse the data to provide buyers and merchandisers with timely, accurate, and relevant information to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and performance monitoring.

Job Description

At VNV, the MIS/MDM Executive will be responsible to collect, sanitise, store and analyse the data to provide buyers and merchandisers with timely, accurate, and relevant information to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and performance monitoring. Overall, the role of MIS/MDM Executive is to create dashboards, track business performance, and automate key processes to improve efficiency and profitability.

Specific Responsibility will include:

  • Master Data Management- create and maintain item master and similar foundational reports
  • Purchase Order Creation
  • Data Collection- responsible for collecting and organizing data from various sources and software
  • Reporting and Analytics- formulate sales reports, performance report, inventory mix dashboard etc
  • Decision Support- provide relevant information to buyers and merchandisers to help them make informed decisions
  • Process Automation- Assist in automating key business processes, such as inventory management and sustain the same by incorporating the timely changes

Requirements:

  • Retail background
  • Up to 2-4 years of proven work experience in planning/MDM/MIS
  • Proficiency in Advanced MS-Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience in preparing detailed MIS reports & dashboards
  • Strong analytical and technical skills * Attention to detail and effective communication
  • Agile- to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to self-learn, take initiatives, and work above and beyond
